Solution

Our first step was to select the best recycled stock for performance, print quality, and sustainable advantages, with 30% post-consumer waste content and FSC certification. Our second was to use a browsable design, a package sold without shrink wrap that could be opened to yield two interior graphic panels for extra sales and merchandising copy. The product remains secure and inaccessible inside the package, in a standard generic three-panel paperboard CD wallet. Tri-Plex wallets are made with the same 30% PCW, FSC-certified paperboard.

The die-cut front cover entices the consumer to open it. On the left inside cover, two slits can hold a gift card that the consumer purchases at the register. A fugitive glue dot keeps the front cover from opening on the shelf yet allows the customer to browse and reseal with ease.

Result

This project led to our decision to stock Printkote Eagle recycled paperboard and have it on our floor for our customers to use on their projects.
