Hear ye! Hear ye!

Our client, Peace Arch Entertainment, needed a stand-out package for the much-anticipated release of Tudors: The Complete First Season. They were open to design suggestions but made one request – the package had to "unfold" just like the epic story of Henry VIII. Our design team was ready for this noble challenge!

Solution

To maximize the graphic presentation, we designed the outer package as a five-panel routed cover board and affixed a rigid tray of the same material to its center panel. The entire exterior construction is wrapped with Hyflex Chrome paper to give the package a smooth texture and features foil stamping to enhance the artwork. The internal tray, which holds the DVD collection inside a digipak, is complete with a double-faced satin lifting ribbon in the traditional Tudor style of blood red.

Result

A royal treatment befitting any Tudor fan! With an air of intrigue, this package beckons the user to open it and is clearly sovereign over all the competition on the shelf. Our customer could not have been more pleased. We made their vision into a reality and stayed within their budget – a regal success that would delight even the king himself.
